Create sophisticated customer profiles by monitoring participation in Blank SMS campaigns

Goal

To mine the data acquired in the interactive traffic of an SMS campaign in order to create a participant profile based on actual behavioural patterns.

This profile is then utilized by our Interactivity Engine to continuously improve personalization of the campaign. Additionally, at the end of the promotion, the refined profile can be returned to the operator’s CRM as a substantial additional long-term benefit.

Procedure

  • Users send a blank sms to a premium short code to receive points to the draw (participation tickets)
  • Users sending more than one sms increase their chances of winnin
  • Daily bonus sessions (MT messages alerts) offering extra points if the participant provides additional personal info (eg name, age, city, preferences, hobbies etc):

Bonus message (MT free): Today we've got a present for you – 50 extra points if you send us your Name! 10.000pln for draw today! 250.000pln in the final! Send only 1 SMS with your answer to 73100. Be the winner!

User repies by SMS: “Adam”

Return message: Super Adam! Now you will get as many as 70 points for the draw of 10.000pln and 250.000pln if you tell us the city you live! Each point brings you closer to winning! Send 1 SMS with your answer to 73100. You've got 150 points.

User replies by SMS: “Warsaw”

  • The Interactivity Engine records the participants' responses to the bonus questions and monitors the frequency and volume of participants' activity
  • The initial user profile created by the system is refined daily with additional data, producing an invaluable CRM asset for the operation.
