Java Akazoo Chat: a mobile application for instant communication

A mobile tool developed to establish a new avenue of instant communication on mobile devices.

Goal

Our Java based IM client use mobile internet to connect to Akazoo and other IM servers like MSN, in order to socialize with their friends and other community members.

Procedure

This application has been developed for mobile users to interact with friends in public or private rooms. Securely designed to protect users’ identity and personal information, it provides communication and entertainment, while its simple interface and navigation make it easy to use from any mobile device. After having downloaded the application to their mobile, users insert their social network’s login information to connect and gain access to:

  • Public and private chat rooms
  • Friends list
  • Room and member search
  • Chat invitations
  • Chat room creation
  • Settings

Moreover, users may access their MSN accounts by filling out their login details and that way use both networks to communicate, whenever and wherever they are.

Time of completion

For the Java client our teams spent at total 13 work days. For the Integration of Chat server with other communities our Engineers completed it in 5 work days.

How it works

  • Step 1: Register on Akazoo.
  • Step 2: Download java Akazoo Chat to your mobile.
  • Step 3: Log in to chat.
  • Step 4: Use Akazoo chat and/or MSN.
