An iPhone/iPad app for instant messaging that keeps the user linked up to their favorite social networks.

Our Goal

To offer a feature-rich application for users that want to get the best out of their mobile instant messenger. Our iPhone chat application uses any 3G or WiFi connection to link up with Akazoo or other IM services (e.g. MSN) and keep the user in touch with friends.

Procedure

Application users on the iPhone can create a profile, follow multiple conversations at once, receive incoming IM alerts (e.g. friend requests) and much more.
After downloading the application, users enter their Akazoo social network login information to access:

  • Public and private chat rooms
  • Friends lists
  • Room and member search
  • Chat invitations
  • Friend requests
  • Chat room creation
  • Users may also access other social network accounts, like MSN or Gtalk, by entering their login details into the application. This way, they can stay connected, whenever and wherever they are.

How it works

  • Download the application from iTunes App store.
  • An Akazoo account can be created directly from the iPhone app.
  • Participate in Akazoo chatrooms, use Akazoo chat, or buzz a friend by shaking the iPhone.
  • Sign into other IM networks.
