Internetq’s SMS application is used to engage Alter TV viewers by letting them share their opinions on the show “Piles tou Aneksigitou” and win several prizes
Goal
To provide a robust and engaging SMS service that facilitates viewers in participating in live TV shows.
Procedure
Internetq provides a web-based voting application allowing Alter TV to receive text messages from its viewers, with results of the voting being announced by the end of the show.
- Users are able to vote more than once, and are automatically entered into a draw for several prizes. They are also asked if they would want to opt-in to future voting.
Time of completion
One working day.
Duration of service
Alter TV has been using Internetq's SMS voting applications sucessfully since 2006.
How it works
- Step 1: "Do you believe there is life after death? Send YES or NO to 54100"
- Step 2: The user sends his response to short code 54100
- Step 3: Alter replies: "Thank you for your vote. You have successfully entered the draw for a notebook."
