Integrated Document Solutions recently announced it will release its state-of-the-art mobile applications at the 2012 HIMSS conference and exhibition, an expo highlighting Health information technology.
The hospital industry has already benefited from the implementation of cloud-based systems, which are in many ways superior to legacy systems.
IDS indicates that their line of mobile apps will allow healthcare professionals to conduct daily operations commonly performed with a paper and pencil or desktop computer.
CEO of IDS, Yaniv Dagan, said that the mobility of physicians will become a necessary component for future healthcare operability.
"Our cloud approach allows us to implement and deploy in almost no time customized mobile workflows to support physicians on the go. Our mobile applications make physicians more productive and provide facilities with the tools they need to maintain compliance and improve patient care documentation," Dagan said.
The exhibition at the HIMSS will showcase thousands of products and services. As more than 60 percent of Americans aged 25 to 34 own a smartphone, doctors can now begin to rely on their mobile devices more as a medical tool.
