The heart of our SMS and WAP applications is our high performance clustered RDBMS running on an array of Itanium2® Montecito® CPUs. Our RDBMS is optimized for OLTP environment and handles millions of transactions every day generated by our services around the world and achieves a performance of 10 milliseconds to finish complex transactions like delivering content to end user, processing a subscription payment or routing a message to a keyword SMS application.

This enables us to deliver our services to end users promptly even when handling vast amounts of SMS or WAP generated requests.

CPA Framework

Mobile industry developed across time a wide set of open and proprietary content provider access (CPA) protocols to values added services (VAS) like CIMD2, OISD, UCP, SMPP, PARLAYX, MM7 and SOAP. To simplify operation is such a diverse environment Internetq developed a framework of applications that implements various CPA protocols and provides a universal CPA protocol to SMS and MMS applications. This framework efficiently performs routing, queuing, submit and deliver operations for all mobile operators, removing the burden of these operations from SMS, MMS applications and standardizing the connectivity interface for them.

Our CPA framework maintains CP connectivity to mobile operators in Europe, Central Asia and North America, processes hundreds of thousands of SMS, MMS every day and efficiently handles rates of 100 operations per second.

Voice Response Units VRU “farm”

InternetQ operates a “farm” of VRUs, consisting of several autonomous VRU systems that form a robust platform for our voice applications. Each VRU access our telephony network via multiple physical paths and call routing for VRUs is performed by a high availability clustered PABX that load balances incoming calls to VRUs. The “farm” can maintain normal operation even if one or more VRU systems are offline providing near 100% service availability.

Our VRU “farm” can handle high volume of concurrent calls and is easily expandable to accommodate our future needs. Our biggest “farm” is located in Greece with a capacity of 500 concurrent calls. VRU “farms” are also deployed in Poland and soon in Tukrey.

WEB, WAP Content Delivery Optimization

Internetq delivers each day 200.000 web and wap pages through our web “farms” and web accelerators. Using cutting edge technology we cache and compress content on demand, optimize TCP sessions, load balance requests to multiple web servers. As a result end users enjoy fast access to our web,wap services.
