“Luck in Your Mobile” Mobile Content Promotion

Background

We entered the Turkish market in partnership with Turkcell, AVEA and Vodafone to familiarize their subscriber base with mobile content downloads.

Idea

By playing on a Turkish pun, InternetQ created a premium SMS promotion called "Şans Cep-T" meaning "Luck on your Mobile". We launched the trademarked promotion offering the subscribers of Turkcell, Avea and Vodafone incentives to purchase mobile content while also earning points towards draws for prizes including a total €60,000 in cash, a BMW 1-series car, and the grand prize: a spectacular newly built luxury apartment in Istanbul. The promotion was publicized by an intensive media outreach campaign including creative TV spots featuring Turkey's famous actor, Levent Üzümcü and advertorials live from South Africa's FIFA World Cup featuring top models and actresses, Aysun Kayaci and Tülin Şahin. 

Result

InternetQ's systems expertise integrated the game seamlessly between all operators. Participants shared personal data when entering the contest and our continuous segmenting analytics created a profile database for future campaigns. “Şans Cep-T” remains the most profitable and successful mobile marketing campaign in the country, providing operators with real added value.
