Turkcell, Vodafone and Avea our three partners in the latest Turkey campaign.

The third annual installement of our exceptionally successful ‘Sans Cept’ campaign in Turkey has just launched.

Running over six months, each 60-day interval will see participants share in a prize draw for iPhones, LCD TVs, BMW X-series cars, Vespa scooters and even an apartment to park it all in. Not winning the loot will always disappoint, but a bunch of Akazoo points for every player will make it up, a bit.

Boosting the campaign is not only the usual all-media advertising effort, but also a linked Facebook page that rewards a ‘like’ with a real chance to join the prize draws for free. Third is, remarkably, Turkey’s rank in the global league table of Facebook user numbers, so this could be big - stay tuned.

When launching a mobile marketing campaign, a company can go in a number of directions with its efforts. Some firms may opt for a backseat approach, while others may choose to take a more hands-on initiative.

Often, however, the latter may appear to consumers as aggressive, particularly if interactive SMS messages aren't well-timed and interrupting daily routines. Therefore, a business must ensure its efforts are interactive and engaging, Diane Charton, managing director at Acceleration Media told Biz Community.

"People carry their mobile phones with them wherever they go and leave it on their bedside tables when they go to sleep at night," Charton told the source. "Marketers need to be careful that they don't alienate customers and prospects by sending them SMS messages at inconvenient times or by sending so many messages that they become annoying."

Many firms are still putting most of their efforts behind an interactive SMS strategy. While this is an effective channel for reaching consumers, marketers should also focus their attention on mobile applications. In June, consumers spent an average of 81 minutes per day interacting with apps, a Flurry report revealed.

Our progress and milestones in moving global mobile entertainment forward.

INTERNETQ PLC (LSE:INTQ) published its annual report for 2010 today. It consists of two sections: the Annual Review and the Financial Report. The Annual Review presents the company’s corporate profile, an industry outlook as well as the company’s proposition and its technology platforms. Poland’s national colors may be white and red, but football fans will see nothing but Orange leading up to next year’s UEFA EURO 2012 Championship thanks to InternetQ. 

InternetQ was successfully announced as Orange Poland’s partner of choice for the provision of a comprehensive suite of mobile marketing services surrounding the telecom operator’s sponsorship of the UEFA EURO 2012 event taking place in Poland and Ukraine in the summer of 2012.

The management service agreement represents another win for InternetQ in Poland and will cover a full spectrum of the operator’s promotional EURO 2012 interactive communications activities with its over 14 million subscriber base. InternetQ will be supported by Big Time Entertainment, an innovative player in creating SMS based mobile marketing concepts.
