This is a hands-on role, where the director will be responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of all projects by utilizing our internal development and design resources. She/he will also be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives to evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed.

We’re looking for people with big ideas and a hunger to succeed. The role as ebusiness executive will be to generate revenue, and increase traffic to our .com project. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing new ideas and strategies that will increase profits through growing revenue channels, capturing more web traffic and generating user subscription growth.

The director will oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the marketing of mobile services tailored exclusively to the mobile operator industry.
  • Develops annual marketing plan in conjunction with sales department, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting organizational objectives.
  • To manage the Marketing department budget. Delivery of all marketing activity within agreed budget. Direction of marketing staff where budgets are devolved.
  • To manage all aspects of print production, and distribution.
  • The achievement of frequent, timely and positive media coverage for our products across all available media.
  • Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for company product lines.
  • Represent the company in trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Creation and development of technical marketing materials. The role is largely focused on gathering of technical product information from a variety of sources and then using that information to write/create customer-facing marketing materials such as:
    • Slide sets
    • Data Sheets
    • White papers
    • Product Specifications
    • Web Pages
    • Architecture Diagrams and illustrations
  • Grow traffic and revenue to our mobile community platform, increase revenue from the main product and the related product websites.
  • Grow the revenue generating opportunities on our .com project.
  • Marketing of the products and services available on the sites both online and offline.

  • Form a team with new and current employees of the company to manage all aspects of product marketing, ebusiness strategy and corporate communications.

  • Ability to analyse online user behaviour using web statistics and develop measurable strategies based on them.
  • Experience of driving global on-line services internationally.
  • Experience of formulating partnerships with partners and affiliates.

Education/Background

  • Computer Science/Engineering background: In this case candidate must have strong creative and writing skills.
  • Marketing background: In this case candidate must have experience in a technical industry in a similar role.
  • Ideally 5-7 years relevant industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree minimum; master's degree preferred; previous Information Technology (IT) experience necessary.
